Welcome to the online home of Claremont Methodist Church(CMC)!

We are so glad that you have found us.

Claremont Methodist Church is situated in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, strategically located near Cavendish Square Shopping Mall, Newlands Rugby and Cricket Stadiums, and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. We are at 22 Cavendish Rd, Claremont, Cape Town and all in all we have been active in ministry for over 100 years.

We believe that we have been placed here in Claremont to be a Community of people who are centred on Jesus Christ (both individually and in our communal life), and then also to share the love of God with the world around us in relevant ways.

We worship God together every Sunday at 9am and 6pm in English, and at 11am in Xhosa. We also meet during the week at various times and places for small group Bible Studies and Fellowship. We are committed to being a church that ministers to the needs of our community, and one that provides a place where every member's gifts can be used to share the message of Jesus Christ with the world. Please take a moment to browse through our site and see the many ministries and mission opportunities that CMC has to offer. We would love for you to join us in worship and see what the Holy Spirit is doing in this place.

If you have any questions or if I can be of assistance in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me.

May God bless you today,

Rev David Howard.
