We as a church fully believe in cell groups and the impact it has on people. Just like the early church met in homes and shared meals together we believe true and authentic relationships are not just built on Sundays but it actually happens at home, work, over coffee. We encourage all our members to join cell groups and plug into community.
Cell groups are where we grow our relationship with God and the people around us and learn how to serve the church and the community we find ourselves in (at work, home, varsity, school…).
Cell groups are where we “work out” our walk with God and discuss difficult questions, where we feel safe enough to be ourselves and honest enough to be real with everyone. We also have a bigger message, which is bringing God’s message of hope, love and restoration to the world and it’s in and through our small groups that this happens.
When we look at Scripture and at how, even from the beginning, Christians met in each others homes we realize that a service on a Sunday is not enough to grow our relationship with God and with each other.
We get together in smaller groups to learn about God, the Bible and how we apply what God is doing in our lives; as well as reaching out to others. Through this we build authentic relationships and community, where we care for each other and have fun together.
