Our leaders are really just a bunch of guys and girls who hang out with some pretty awesome junior school kids on a Friday night. In providing a fun-filled program with different activities, games and challenges each week (and flip, is it action-packed!!), we aim to build moral values and biblical principles into each child’s life through both our relationships with them and through teaching. As trust is built up between leaders and Kickers, a safe environment is created for Kickers to feel comfortable to ask questions and discover more about what it really means to trust and follow God on a daily basis.

K.I.C.K does not require a huge amount of time commitment from leaders. We meet at the beginning of each term to plan the term, and then each leader is responsible for a few evenings each term, though we all chip in to help where ever needed. Through our interaction with the Kickers, and their questioning hearts, we as leaders are too challenged in our relationships with God and constantly reminded of His immeasurable love for us (Bonus!). What a privilege it is to be able to both nurture and grow from our time spent with the Kickers. So, if you have never seen yourself as a “children’s person” all the more reason to come check us out. In fact I URGE YOU, as most of our leaders stumbled upon our love for these kids ‘by accident’ and only realised along the way how much we too are blessed by youth ministry.
